HELLO, FOURBEETWO!
It's been long, and we've all just had our prom, and I believe none of you will EVER visit this blog again, but since I am here, I might as well say a little hi, and hope that one day, one of you nostalgic little buggers would bother to take some time off your busy schedules of fun and click/type/think of this extremely dead class blog. :D

Well, anyway, the point of this post, IS TO SAY THAT:

The past two years I've had with you guys have been awesome.
Yeah, sure, we're an awfully deadbeat class with not much of enthusiasm worth boasting of, but we had our good times together, and it's something that no amount of forgetting each other's faces, names or whatever will change. Yes, memories can do that to a person, AND I AM GLAD FOR THAT.

This blog itself, is the very example of what we are -- a class.

So yeah, what I'm trying to say is, I hope that each and everyone of you will leave PL with good memories of times spent together, and KEEP that friendship you've had with everyone.
It's important, that last point. VERY, important. Because when people tell you that your secondary friends are those whom you'd love the most, THEY'RE NOT LYING.

Anyhow, it's been great with you guys.
Representing the class as Miss Cambridge was an honour, despite however much I claimed I was reluctant, nonchalant, whatever. You name it, I did it. But now, thinking back, I realise, hey, it wasn't such a bad thing after all. Somehow, things always seem that way. So yeah, the point of all this rambling, is that I enjoyed myself, and I kinda regret in a way that I did not manage to bring glory to our class. But then again, all of you as individuals have already brought the best kind of glory 4B2 needs, INDIVIDUALITY AND ECCENTRICITY. I can proudly say none of the other classes have that. ♥

Another regret, would be but of course that I did not have the chance to take that last class photo you guys took during prom, but blah, that was my own fault. Haha.

Yep, I shall end my nonsense now, and I really hope for all of you guys to get the results you've been hoping for, to get into the schools you've been dreaming of, and of course, to enjoy the lives you've been waiting for.

Afterall, we only live once. (:

Dearest 3B2/09,

I hope you are coping well with school in 2010. This will be an exciting NEW year for all with the O levels in a few months time. I'm sure with consistent work, perseverance and good time management, you will be able to excel in the exams with flying colours!

2009 had been a good year for me and I have all of YOU to thank for! Nearly 10 periods per week with a good majority of the class has taught me many lessons of trust, patience and unravelled some hidden talents! I'm proud to see so many of you helming leadership positions in school and performing academically well. Thank you for the journey and walking beside me! =)

I may not be your FT this year, but I'm sure you'll all do well under the guidance of your new teachers! Have more faith in yourselves, participate more actively in class and give the best in whatever you do! Don't run away when you see me, say Hi and I'll give you all a BIG SMILE! =D Will always have you gals in my heart and come the release of the O level results in 2011, rejoice with you in your successes!

Hi 3B2! I thought of sharing a lesson i learnt for the past 2 months.

Friends are important but now i know, family is the the number one priority in your life. I did not appreciate my parents and now everything is screwed up. Really, they are the one who will be there through thick and thin. Friends always say that 'i'll be there for you' but how many of them actually do it? Those who do, they are your true friends. Talk is cheap. I gave in to cheap thrills and got my life screwed up. If you feel like your parents don't understand you, don't throw tantrums around. Be thankful that they provide you with a shelter and food. I dare you to put out your hand in public and ask someone ' hi, can give me money to eat?'. No one, i repeat no one will give you enough for a meal. Your parents love you so much, they scold you cause they love you. I didn't realise this till it was too late, i hurt my parents over and over again and i had enough of it.

Maybe some of you may think that rebelling is 'in' and is 'cool' but i am telling you now, when you are a rebel, everything just goes wrong in your life. There will always be scoldings from people who love and care for you. If you go to the wrong path and mix with the wrong company and your friends support you for this, those aren't worthy friends. Choose your friends properly, don't regret what will become of you in life.

During the upcoming holidays, remember to spend time with your family too, not only your friends.

Public Speaking

Hey ThreeBeeTwo,

After today's inter-class debate, I have come to realise how horrible I am at public speaking.(The entire group did well though, we tried our best too!) It's a shame that I'm actually from debate, where supposedly, I am thought to be a good speaker. And thus, I remembered a time when Miss Sim, our temporary english teacher, mentioned a public speaking group that focused solely on improving each other's speech. I've searched it up and came across this.

As all of you should have realised, Term three Examinations are OVEEERRRRR. However, Our finals are around the corner.

So please do begin on your endless road to revision.

The inter-class debate is held next Thursday & the motion has already been released.
This House Believes That Singaporeans should only live in Singapore.
We don't know if we're on the prop or opp, so do help us think of points for both sides.
Support is crucial for motivation.

This is in exception of those either in pure sciences, or you do not take the subject.

Mrs Ong has mentioned that some of you have not handed in your assignments and likewise for other subjects. If you fail to hand it in and do not plan to do so, prepared to get a zero. It's your loss, and only yours. For combined science students, please remember to hand in the chemistry assignment due on monday. It's page (1.2)4 & 5 of your Ten-year-series. The geography worksheet assignments are also due on monday so please remember to complete them.

With most of the class assignments & tests completed, the Term 3 common tests are about 10 days away.

Reck your brains if you please & get the facts registered before it's too late.

Hello threebees,

For the students that take literature, some of you should already know that there's actually a Student's Guide to To Kill A Mockingbird. To be honest, I think that some of you have already purchased the guide already. However, for those who haven't, and like me, are having trouble coping with the never-ending chapters to TKAM, They sell it in the Popular book store. Whether you wish to buy it on your own is optional, but perhaps we should consider ordering it for all the literature students who haven't had the book?

Besides, our current literature teacher doesn't really touch on the main points of the chapter that well.

( In my opinion:P)

Anyway,

I wish you all fruitful, sleepless nights spent on revision till our finals.

Hi ladies,

I really hope that all of you will respond to the call to dress up in your finest ethnic wear NEXT FRIDAY (24 Jul) in commemoration of RHD. It'll really be a fun day, if all of you participate, whip out your cameras and take some shots. 10 years down memory lane, I assure all of you that you'll still talk about it! =)

I have perankan set if anyone wants to borrow. Little India and Chinatown do sell outfits without burning a hole in your pockets ($20+). I, myself, am still thinking what to wear..I welcome any sugestions (of course subjected to my resources...=p)

Let's have a BLAST next week ok!

Just an aside note, I know you all don't like reflections, but I thought I would like to share a meaningful project the school has with NDP '09. This was especially so after I read some of your reflections, those who wrote on the cards I gave out. They have already featured some of your school mates' contributions which are really heartfelt (no need to be londwinded...).If you have the time, do drop by the school's website and scroll down till you see the NDP banner and follow the instructions to leave your thoughts. What better way to show how you feel for the nation?

YaY..my first post!! The pics are from our 'Night of museum' screening, followed by our Pasta Mania lunch at DG. Hope you gals enjoyed the movie! To those I still owe a movie, it'll will be done in the near future (not to worry..). Let's have a proper gathering this term to make up for the the supposed chalet we missed due to H1N1. Any suggestions?

If you can remember, I didn't attend the last three days of school before the June holidays, so I didn't manage to collect my books and it was left there without a care in the world. I'm a bit angry and obviously fustrated because up till now, I still can't find them.
I've searched the old, rusty cupboard. I've asked the teacher. And I've approached the general office. Still no sign of them.
And so, If any of you happen to take it, accidentally or on purpose, please inform me.
